{"id":7394,"date":"2019-02-08T13:24:21","date_gmt":"2019-02-08T13:24:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.golfnq.org.au\/cms\/?p=7394"},"modified":"2023-08-28T07:32:17","modified_gmt":"2023-08-28T07:32:17","slug":"flood-affected-clubs-funding-support","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.golfnq.org.au\/cms\/2019\/02\/flood-affected-clubs-funding-support\/","title":{"rendered":"FLOOD AFFECTED CLUBS-FUNDING SUPPORT"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Many of you may have received information from the Department of Sport &amp; Rec regarding the Sport and Recreation Disaster Recovery Program (SRDRP).<\/p>\n<p>Following the North and Far North Queensland Monsoon Trough, 25 January \u2013 6 February the Sport and Recreation Disaster Recovery Program (SRDRP) Level 1 has been opened.<\/p>\n<p>Level 1 funding provides up to $5000 to assist in immediate clean-up efforts. This may include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>replacement of damaged equipment that directly relates to the re-establishment of activities (including office and canteen equipment)<\/li>\n<li>payment of services and hire costs, and purchase of equipment and tools that assist in short term clean-up of facilities<\/li>\n<li>reimbursement for the purchase of the above made from the date of the relevant disaster<\/li>\n<li>funds to repair or replace when this is lower than the premium excess set by the insurance provider may be eligible<\/li>\n<li><strong>excess coverage for insurance claims<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Clubs in the following areas may apply;<\/p>\n<p>Burdekin Shire Council<\/p>\n<p>Cairns Regional council<\/p>\n<p>Carpentaria Shire Council<\/p>\n<p>Charters Towers Regional Council<\/p>\n<p>Cloncurry Shire Council<\/p>\n<p>Cook Shire Council<\/p>\n<p>Croydon Shire Council<\/p>\n<p>Douglas Shire Council<\/p>\n<p>Ehteridge Shire Council<\/p>\n<p>Flinders Shire Council<\/p>\n<p>Hinchinbrook Shire Council<\/p>\n<p>Hope Vale Aboriginal Shire Council<\/p>\n<p>McKinlay Shire Council<\/p>\n<p>Mornington Shire Council<\/p>\n<p>Palm Island Aboriginal Shire Council<\/p>\n<p>Richmond Shire Council<\/p>\n<p>Townsville City Council<\/p>\n<p>Winton Shire Council<\/p>\n<p>Whitsunday Regional Council<\/p>\n<p>Wujal Wujal Aboriginal Shire Council<\/p>\n<p>Yarrabah Aboriginal Shire Council<\/p>\n<p>If any Club would like more information or <strong>support in completing the application<\/strong>, Golf Australia- QLD, Clubs and Facilities Support has assigned the following person to help you secure the funding.<\/p>\n<p>Rob Lillystone- 0422 368 161\u00a0 <a href=\"mailto:roblillystone@redtapebusters.com.au\">roblillystone@redtapebusters.com.au<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Many of you may have received information from the Department of Sport &amp; Rec regarding the Sport and Recreation Disaster Recovery Program (SRDRP).
