Conditions became that bad that rounds 1 and 4 were abandoned. This is the first time it has happened since its commencement.<\/p>\n<p>Our district was well represented by<\/p>\n<p>13yrs Boys &#8211; Elio DiBella, Levi Holmes, Dallas Douglas &amp; Addison Neaves<\/p>\n<p>15yrs Boys \u2013 Finn Couper, Kaylem Douthwaite and Beau Lavery<\/p>\n<p>15yrs Girls \u2013 Jade Escriva<\/p>\n<p>17yrs Boys \u2013 Tim Herman, Sam Harrison and Kyle Dowde<\/p>\n<p>Although not all players made the proposed cut it was great to see most improved on their first round scores. I was impressed on how our players conducted themselves and their were several comments made about our shirts and how well the kids looked. I would like to thank the committee for providing these.<\/p>\n<p>In the shorten event (36 holes) Elio DiBella was the nett winner on a countback and Kyle Dowde was the winner of the State Final District Points Challenge.<\/p>\n<p>I hope that all our players learnt something from this experience and come back and try and qualify for 2021.<\/p>\n<p>Mick Dowde<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The GNJM was held last week in some of the worst conditions imaginable for golf.
