Junior Open
RESULTS
The Bowen Junior open is over for another year. 2016 has been our biggest field yet, with 100 players taking to the course on Sunday. The Open Champions for this year were Nick Hilder from Mackay and Emily Cannavan from Home Hill. We would like to thank our major sponsors, Glencore – Abbot Point Bulkcoal and Queensland Country Credit Union. We sincerely thank Lorna Lockhart from Glencore -Abbot Point Bulkcoal and Ross Meier from Qld Country Credit union for taking the time out to help present the trophies. Your support is greatly appreciated.
Our annual raffle was also drawn during presentations with Zale Ivory from Ayr winning 1st prize of a “Wish” gift card to the value of $500 and Chloe Nobes from Bowen winning 2nd prize, which was a golf bag. The golf bag was kindly donated by Julianne Flanagan – one of our senior club members. We thank you for your kind donation.
