Over the weekend fifty-seven ladies teed it up in the North Queensland Ladies Open. The event was a huge success and was enjoyed by all.
The first day began at Pioneer Valley Golf Club. Thank you to Pioneer Valley Golf Club for their hospitality, the green staff for preparing the course and all the members for assisting with the event. A big thank you to Karen Hindle, Jan Sievers, and Kay Craig for all their hard work.
The second day began at Mackay Golf Club. Thank you to the management committee for allowing us to use the course, Zest Catering, green staff, bar staff, Geoffrey Grendon and Noel Edmonds for doing the starters box, and the Pro Shop for their continued support. Thank you to May Scott-Morris for your assistance with the input of the draw.
A big thank you to the North Queensland Ladies Committee, consisting of Wendy Grendon, Michelle Ahmad, Kay Craig, and Eileen Bell. Also thank you to Maryann Harrigan for selling the raffle tickets over the weekend.
We were able to make $536, which will go towards supporting the Junior Jug Team and Meg Nunn Team. A big thank you to Sue Holmes for all your assistance and support.
