At a Match Committee Meeting held on Monday 06/06/16 a discussion was held on the Townsville Open for 2016
Members of the Match Committee asked did we have any Sponsor for this Year`s Event
Mark Lance (Captain) was not sure if there was and he would speak to Terry Walsh (President) on Tuesday and get back to me on Wednesday to see if we were going to Run the Event
Mark rang Yesterday Afternoon and advised me that we had No Sponsor so it was decided not to have the 2016 Townsville Open this Year due to This and Other Economic Issues in the City of Townsville
Could you Please Advise Member Clubs that the 2016 Townsville Open – Saturday, 2nd & Sunday, 3rd July 2016 has been CANCELLED.
