Once again I would like to thank the NQ Golf association for having me represent them at the Queensland Senior held at Carbrook Golf Club. The course was in good condition considering it was completely under water a couple of months before the event and a strong field of about 100 players teed it up for the 54 hole event. I played well for the first two days having 78 and then 73 and was in the seeded last three groups for the final round but unfortunately the wheels fell off and I had a shocker of a day shooting 83 and faded away to finish tied for 19th for the event. Overall the experience was magnificent and I was very proud to represent NQ Golf after winning the Dale Nofz North Queensland Senior Title in Mackay. Please pass on my thanks to your fellow committee members and I look forward to the NQ open next year.
