Clubs and facilities are supported by Golf Australia with the “Grant Writing Assistance Program”, facilitated by our consultants, Red Tape Busters. Red Tape Busters lead the process by understanding your project needs and the grant guidelines. They will guide you through the action you need to take to give your organisation the best chance of success, and when you are ready, apply on your behalf. Gambling Community Benefit Fund (GCBF)

  • Not-for-profit groups operating in Queensland can apply for grants from $500 to $35,000 ($100,000 for the super round) through the Gambling Community Benefit Fund (GCBF). 

  • In 2023, the GCBF program has 4 funding rounds available:

    • $100,000 super round for all priorities—closes 28 February

    • $35,000 standard grant round—closes 31 May

    • $35,000 standard grant round—closes 31 August

    • $35,000 standard grant round—closes 31 October.

Inclusive Facilities Fund (September 2023)

Minor Infrastructure R2 (September 2023)

  • The Minor Infrastructure Program provides funding for infrastructure projects that enhance community participation opportunities through the provision of spaces that are:

  • safe – reduced exposure to health and safety risk

  • quality- meeting standard required for community level participation

  • efficient – more efficient use of the places and spaces (can be used by more people, cater for more activities, be used for longer hours)

  • inclusive and accessible – enhancing usability of places and spaces and ensuring no one is excluded from participation.

  • Grants up to $250k.
